Rowdy Stephens is a filmmaker from Virginia whose upbringing on a farm instilled a deep appreciation for nature and authentic storytelling. Currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Film Production with an emphasis in Directing and a minor in Virtual Production and Generative AI Workflows at Chapman University's Dodge College, Rowdy is passionate about blending emotionally resonant performances with innovative filmmaking techniques.

His work lives at the intersection of narrative cinema and emerging technology, exploring AI-generated imagery, virtual production, and real-time rendering as tools that expand what high-quality storytelling can look and feel like.

Recent work includes Station-0, which blends Unreal Engine environments with AI-generated visuals from Google Veo and MidJourney. Created entirely solo, it won the Chroma Awards University Division. Through the Umbra, his senior thesis film currently in post-production, follows a military pilot who crash-lands in a world of eternal darkness and must reckon with a truth that unravels everything he was taught to believe.
